When you arrive for your exam, please check in with our receptionist. If you are a new patient, bring your glasses, a list of medications you are currently taking, and any insurance information that you wish us to have. If you wear contact lenses, please inform the secretary when you make your appointment.
There are many types of eye examinations. Comprehensive
eye examinations usually require about 90 minutes of your time. It may be
necessary to use eye drops that dilate your pupils. These drops temporarily
blur your vision and make your eyes sensitive to light for several hours.
It is advisable to bring someone with you to drive.
If you were referred
to us by another doctor and wish the results of your examination to be forwarded
to that office, please let us know.
