Mary M. Jackowski, PhD, OD
Dr. Jackowski received a BS from Syracuse University and a PhD from the School of Graduate Studies at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She completed two post-doctoral fellowships at the Vanderbilt School of Medicine and attended the New England College of Optometry, earning an OD. She is co-founder and former director of Vision Rehabilitation Services at the Upstate Department of Ophthalmology.

Currently, Dr. Jackowski works at Eye Consultants of Syracuse as a specialist in rehabilitative optometry and low vision services. She is the vision consultant for the VIST and low vision programs at the VAMC in Syracuse, specializing in visual loss after brain injury for its Polytrauma Center patients.
